Description
The quad seal flat bottom pouch, also known as a side gusset pouch, is the newest product on the pouch market. It is made by welding the pouch at its four corners and has a fully flat bottom that offers good stability. These pouches also feature gussets on the bottom, the left and right sides, and the right side as well.
Properties
The side gusset pouches are designed to maximize storage capacity by expanding into a square shape once filled. They feature gussets on both sides and are sealed with a fin-seal that runs from top to bottom, with horizontal sealing at both the top and bottom. Typically, the top of the pouch is left open for easy filling of the contents.
Application
"Side Gusset Pouches" are commonly known as "Coffee or Tea Pouches" due to their popularity as the preferred packaging option for coffee and tea.
